Bring any piece, and get help and inspiration from Prof David Baker on either or both organs in the Minster. You will leave with fresh ideas for improving your technique and developing your repertoire.

This May, as for the last 11 years, St Lawrence Jewry will be home to a most unusual festival of organ playing, featuring the most brilliant young players of the moment.  Each year there have been quite breathtaking programmes and 2016 will be no exception, with the music of Cesar Franck being a common thread this year.   This is the only Young Artists programme for organists in the UK so it is a very special series, enthusiastically supported by the family of the late John Hill.

Please join us for one or more of our May 2016 performances.

This class is for any organist with little or no experience accompanying a choir, leading a choir from the organ, or conducting. Simon Williams will have a group of singers on hand to help you practise any or all of these skills.
