MARTIN GOETZE – CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE AND WORKS

On 20 February 2016, at 3.00 pm

St Botolph Aldgate

A celebration, in music and words, of the life and works of Martin Goetze

Tim Roberts will play music by John Worgan, who was organist at St Botolph’s and a famous musician in his day.  Tim will bring his new CD of the organ works of Worgan, which he has dedicated to Martin’s memory.

Also playing will be Chris Farr, who was organist at St John and St Philip the Hague in the Netherlands, our first new organ for which Martin was also responsible.

David Butterworth, organist in Nottingham and a frequent and welcome visitor, will also be playing.

The duration of each performance will be approximately one hour.

Tea and cake will be available following the performances.
