ORGAN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALL AT JESUS COLLEGE, OXFORD – 3 NOVEMBER 2015

This is a half-day event for aspiring keyboard players, music teachers and Organists

at Jesus College, Oxford on 3 November 2015, from 12.30 pm to 7.00 pm

Playing the organ is a wonderful opportunity for gifted pianists and musicians who want to broaden their repertoire or context.  If you have a passion for music and want to learn about the opportunities and benefits of being an organ scholar, full details of this event and booking information can be found on the link below:

Student Organist/Accompanist – Washburn Benefice Choir, North Yorkshire

Washburn Benefice Choir, based in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, require a Student Organist to act as Accompanist for the following three services:

  • Friday 2nd October 2015 at 7.00 pm – Fewston, North Yorkshire
  • Sunday 4th October 2015 at 9.30 am – Farnley, North Yorkshire
  • Sunday 11th October 2015 at 10.00 am – Leathley, North Yorkshire

(Rehearsals/choir practice take place on Mondays at 7.00 pm at Leathley)

The choir will be singing three pieces:

“Though Visiteth the Earth”

“Sing to the Lord of Harvest”

“Glory, Love and Praise and Honour”; tune by Eberlin

High School Organists – Free Tuition for 4 years – The University of Alabama

The University of Alabama is offering Out-of-State/Undergraduate Scholarships for High School Organists. 

The application deadline for 4 years’ free tuition  is 15 December 2015.

Out-of-State Scholarships/Undergraduate Scholarships for 2016-2017 are:

  • Capstone Scholar
  • Collegiate Scholar
  • Foundation in Excellence Scholarship
  • UA Scholar
  • Presidential Scholar
