The York & District Organists’ Association is broadcasting a pre-recorded concert in honour of Andrew Carter’s 80th birthday at 7.30pm on Saturday 13 June 2020. To enjoy the concert, please click here.

Andrew Carter has written over two hundred and forty compositions, including an Organ Concerto and Petite Suite for trumpet and organ, plus nineteen pieces for solo organ. Eleven of these solo organ pieces and two piano works will be included in the concert on Saturday.

Sadly, the RCO has taken the decision to cancel this year’s Summer Course. Whilst this is not surprising given the current circumstances, it is still disappointing. However, it will be back next year with provisional dates already arranged for 2 – 7 August 2021.
